ABUNDANCE: Crowned with Goodness

Psalm 65:11 "You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance."

We follow a Lord who loves us dearly and only wants the best for us as we move through our lives. He offers us His love in return and also a life filled with an abundance in many different ways. Having an abundance is having more than enough. Having more than we need is a great blessing from our Father therefore thankfulness should be on our lips to Him each day.

When the Lord blesses us with an abundance, whether it be in the physical sense or the spiritual sense, He is giving us more than we need. He is giving us a surplus, an increased supply and He can give this in the way that will produce more in and from us. In Matthew 13 Jesus speaks to the disciples about those who have been given the “knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven” to, will receive an abundance of knowledge and understanding.

He is also a God of abundance in the physical sense too. He can and will show favor on His people with increased riches and comforts. He is a Father who cares about every detail of our lives. When we have an abundance from God and give Him all thanks, praise, glory and honor He smiles. Every gift is from above.

Having an abundance of possessions is completely different from having an abundance of Jesus. With Jesus fully and completely in our minds, hearts and souls we are filled with the Spirit of God then Holy Spirit can reveal more to us as we walk with Him day by and an as we study and seek more. God can continually increase our understanding of life when we are open to His voice.

Throughout Bible Scripture there are stories of abundant harvest and great famine. These scriptures tell of actual fields of grain and produce while others speak of the abundant harvest of the souls of mankind. Jesus mentioned many times that the harvest of souls was the mission. In Luke 10 He sends them out to harvest an abundant crop of souls.

As followers of Jesus, we can expect an abundance and then we can share with others whether it be spiritual or physical. Give your love in abundance.
