Discover the God that not only hears, but DELIVERS

Psalm 91:14-15 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him."

What a beautiful promise from our Lord that He will deliver us when we are in trouble. He will help us out of the messes we get ourselves into and He will still love us. So many times, we forget to look back on our past and give Him thanks for every single little thing He has brought us out of. There are sometimes huge mountains in our path that we find no way to go around. We are unable to climb it and we are unable to go around it. Going through it is the only way and only our God can make that way for us. He is the only one who can deliver us from those places we do not want to be in but somehow have found our way into.

This Psalm reminds us to call upon Him and listen for His answers. When we reach out to God for deliverance from trouble He will. We have a Father who teaches us watch and see what He can do and then we can go out into a world needing to be delivered from their many sins and troubles just like us and tell them our stories of God’s love.

There are many scriptures that speak about how the Israelites were delivered time and time again. Yahweh came in and delivered then from the enemy. He will do the same thing for you and for me when we ask. Though today we not have to go into physical battles like the Israelites did, we are still in many different battles here in our world. We have spiritual battles, financial battles, relationship battles, emotional battles, you name it.

Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all."

In your busy days, weeks and months ahead when you feel like you are in a battle, stop, breathe and call out to the Lord and He will deliver you out and bring you peace. He will deliver you into His mighty fortress of love to guard and protect you. Test Him and see what He will do when you call on Him for deliverance.
